Level 1 vs Level 2 home EV charging

Level 1: a standard 120V outlet, about 3 to 5 miles of range per hour. It suits low daily mileage and needs no new circuit in many homes.
Level 2: a dedicated 240V circuit, commonly about 15 to 40 miles of range per hour depending on charger, vehicle and circuit size. Most EVs recharge overnight on Level 2. This is the install most homeowners in this directory are asking about.
DC fast charging: mainly public and commercial. It is not the normal home install in this directory.
